We work together with charities, trusts and organisations providing career support to young people and individuals from challenging background, such as ex-offenders. We don’t make judgement on past experiences, but we look for real commitment to the role and the willingness to work hard to achieve professional and personal goals. If you are a charity or organisation helping its members find new employment opportunities and would like to know more about our training programme, please get in touch with The Bayford Foundation manager Nick Elletson on 0113 202 5129.
Here is what our partners say about working with us:
"Street League’s vision is to help see an end to youth unemployment – through the power of sport. The Bayford Foundation have provided employment opportunities to young people who have graduated from the Street League academy programme. Street League graduates have said that they find the recruitment and induction process at The Bayford Foundation very supportive. The staff at Street League look forward to continuing to work closely with the team at The Bayford Foundation."
"Interserve Learning and Employment have been working with The Bayford Foundation for just short of a year. During this time it has been amazing to work with Nick Elletson, he has given so many of our customers a second chance to start their careers and he is always honest and open with me in regards to feedback. I have loved working with The Bayford Foundation and look forward to continuing to work together."
"In2Out is a registered charity that reduces reoffending by bringing positive change into the lives of young people aged 15-21. This is done by providing positive role models, new, positive communities and by encouraging a meaningful use of time. Bayford works with In2Out as a partner providing training and employment to young people. Whilst many are reluctant to “take a chance” on people who have made bad choices, The Bayford Foundation gives an important first step into employment. This makes a major difference to the rest of the young person’s life, giving them self-esteem and a vision for what their future could look like. This dramatically reduces the risk of reoffending, making our communities safer for everyone."OTH
Since The Bayford Foundation was founded, the Princes Trust have been a proud partner that our manager, Nick Elletson, has worked closely alongside. This relationship has built up over the years into the successful partnership we now hold with the Princes Trust that we look forward to continuing into the future.
The Bayford Foundation are proud to be an associated partner with Novus. The work Novus carry out for prisoners is key to guiding previous offenders down the path of not re-offending when they leave prison. If the Bayford Foundation can help facilitate the transition from prison and carry on the teaching given to ex offenders when they leave then we will hopefully give that person a better chance at succeeding.
